August Newsletter

General Information:

·      We have an in-person registration on August 3rd and August 4th from 4-6 p.m. Those that registered online, this is a great time to stop in and sign our policy paper and your payment paper. 

·      August invoices have been emailed to you. Please check Spam if you don’t see it. It is due on your student’s first day of class. 

·      The second week of classes, we will be distributing our merchandise forms. This is how you can order extra “Walk By Faith” shirts, leotards, dance bags, and car decals. Please note that all students get one “Walk By Faith” shirt in September as part of their registration fee.

·      Fall classes begin on August 10th. Fall registration is at https://form.jotform.com/260217556899168

Dance/Tumbling Info:

·      Competition only - Our competition team and hip hop crew have Jumpstart on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Please see the paper given at Master Classes and posted on our GroupMe. 

·      The very first week of Soar (August 10th-13th), we will have our small dance room on the televisions for watch week. The very first week is extremely busy. We ask that you don’t bring more than two adults to see watch week. We simply don’t have the room to support additional family members. Also, please be understanding that this is our teachers first time to meet many of these students so they will be getting to know them. 

·      Large room watch week will be August 17th-20th.

Art Info:

·      The theme this semester will be “Seasons.”

·      Parents are invited in for the last 10 minutes on August 25th for watch week.

·      Please make sure students wear something they can get dirty in. Please do not send them in their school uniform as we cannot guarantee that they won’t get art materials such as paint on them. Thanks!
