May Newsletter
General Information:
• There are NO WATCH WEEKS for the month of May.
• Invoices have been sent out. Reminder that late fees are added on the 7th of each month.
• Registration for summer and fall continues through the month of May!
Art Information:
• We still have spots available in our summer art camps! We also have limited spots available in our fall art classes! Register at our front desk or online (see our website or Facebook page for the links).
Dance Information:
• Dance recital tickets are still on sale at the Columbia Theater box office. Please make sure you know which recital your child is in.
• Last “moms only” practice is Saturday, May 2nd. Both moms and daughters are Saturday, May 9th & FRIDAY, May 15th.
• The week of May 4th-7th is Dance Video Week. Parents are welcome to wait in our lobby before we call them in to video each of the students’ recital dances once they have had time to review it. For competition students, we will do this on their Thursday classes of that week.
• All students in Ballet 1, 2/3 or 4, the last Belle Production practice is on Thursday, May 7th from 4:45-6:15pm. Tap 4 practice to follow from 6:15-6:45pm.
• Tumbling Students: We will have a Tumbling Showcase the week of May 12th-14th. During the last 15 minutes of class, the students will demonstrate what they have learned throughout the year and receive a certificate or trophy. All parents are welcome to attend.
• Last day of dance classes is Thursday, May 14th. Your entire account must be paid in full by this day to participate in the recital.
• Dance rehearsals are Thursday, May 21st at 5pm and Friday, May 22nd at 5pm. Please see your recital packet for which rehearsal your student is in and what time to arrive.
• Dance recitals are Saturday, May 23rd at noon and 5pm. Please see your recital packet for which recital your student is in and what time to arrive.
