Recital Fee: Each dance student is required to participate in the spring recital at the Columbia Theatre. Tumbling students do not participate in this. The recital fee is $200 for one student or $250 for two siblings. This goes toward renting the venue and the creation of our program. This is billed in March. a digital download of the recital will be emailed to each participating student.  A fundraiser, "Congratulations Notes," is done to help with the cost. Guests can purchase tickets through the Columbia Theatre box office.

Late Fees and NSF Checks:
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Starting on the 7th of each month, a $15 late fee will be added to your bill. We follow this policy strictly.

FAQs:
Do I have to perform in the year end recital?
Yes. The first semester of dance is focused on learning technique and steps. The second semester is when the recital dances are taught. If your child was not participating in the recital, he or she would feel left out during class. The only exception is tumbling which does not perform in recital.

Do you accept male students?
Absolutely. Boys are the only students that can choose to take just one discipline such as tap only. We encourage our boys to dance in a masculine way while learning good dance technique.

Will my years at another dance studio be recognized at Soar?
Yes. We award trophies at the end of the year to our 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 10th year students including the years they have danced at other studios. All senior high school graduates are honored too.

Does my child need to be fully potty trained to attend dance classes?
No. Each class has a teacher and an assistant. If your child says they need to use the bathroom, we will bring him/her to you.
